The difference between kinksters and pervs
To the average person in the street, unfortunately, the two are one in the same. Once you open up your mind, there is a world of difference. It’s just got on my nerves these last few days that people in a vanilla setting use the term interchangeably, or maybe I have just noticed more. I don’t know. To my mind, and it is just that, a pervert is someone who just sees his sexual desires as the most important thing, irrespective of anybody elses thoughts or feelings.
A kinkster on the other hand, in many respects is just like any other normal person, just that they dare to venture into new territory to advance their sexual and mental gratification.
They know how to conduct themselves in a decent and proper manner, i.e. when they see a woman in a strip joint they don’t automatically get all horny and geeky and try and photograph the dancers. I’ve been there and seen it, and it was embarrasing for me!
Why am I writing this? Just I think too often that people tar both types together, be it through ignorance or just plain lazyness. It doesn’t do us any favours.
