You may have seen it for yourself. People who don’t understand what we are about, either panic or just completely freak and laugh it off. It’s a pity really. If they took the time to just chill out and actually absorb what we are trying to tell them, they may actually realise how good it could be, if they just trusted themselves enough to try it. What prompted me was I was looking through an old magazine and it had a picture of people in fetish gear set in a normal background. Ok the contexts were a bit out but the “normal” people in the streets where laughing. Now it may have been because it was funny ? No. Maybe because they are embarrassed about opening their minds to the possibilities beyond their comfort zone. I guess its a kind of a defence mechanism.
If they read an introductory book on it, such as “Screw the roses, send me the thorns” it balances itself between the HOW and the WHY. I know I push it but this is a blog about HOW, WHY and WTF but it is the book that got me started more years ago than I care to mention. It’s a good investment. Who knows it may even push a few ‘nillas to try some kinky shit !

After all, if you? understand what and why, you become more at one with the idea, moving comfort zones. They do say to a journey starts with a single step, and this my friends is your guide book, and used correctly, it will keep you safe.
