Well Doug, problem is, you didn’t say where you where from in general so i’m gonna try and cover a few bases here. It really does depend on a few things, do you want to meet one on one, or meet a group of them? Depending on what your answer to that is important. If you live in the UK (I dont know because you used a free mail service) then the first port of call I would recommend would be: Informed Concent Munch List. Here you can find your local munch. A munch is basically an informal get together where you can meet like minded people and just chat about just about anything kink related or not. And no they won’t tie you up and beat you to a pulp (unless you ask real nice

This is the easiest way to get out there and meet people, because you can meet up and speak to several people or no one (but please don’t, its much more fun after you start to chat!)
If you are from another part of the world, a good starting place is here In order to find out you have to ask. Find a group local to you and if they do not have a munch themselves, they will know somewhere local that will.
If, on the other hand you want to chat online first and get used to people, terms, ways, BDSM lingo etc you can join one of many online BDSM communities. Yes some charge, some do not. There is so much to do on there and so many people to meet that you might just forget the outside world exists for a bit. Best thing is, at the moment its a free join (ie you can become a basic member for FREE) I’d get there and just check it out and see just how many people and how much there is to do on there.
